I upgraded my site to 3.3.7 with .Net 2.0 and while most of the site seems to be working I am having an issue with the latest version of IFrame. Installing it goes well, but when I place it on a page I get the following error. Can anyhelp me out? I reaaly want to use the new features in this version. If it will not work with the setup I have can someone point me to the previous version of the module.

TIA,

It seems that I compiled the framework on my own together with the iframe module. This will cause excactly the error you are reporting using DNN3.3.7 and .Net 2.0

You can help yourself if you

  • run DNN3.3.7 using ASP.NET 1.1.,
  • compile IFrame again against DNNN3.3.7 or
  • upgrade to DNN4.4.1

I am not aware of any switch witch disable this silly version detection.

Thanks Stephan. I went ahead and bit the bullet and converted to 4.4.1. (Wanted to go in baby steps. But all is good)

Now it appears that the control is not passing query parameters. I noticed in some older threads that this is being worked or is it fixed yet.

What I would like to do is passing the DNN username and email (As pass) to another site to login and perform some actions. Currently I do this via Text HTML window where I have the user login again to the remote site. Not a pretty solution but it works for now.

I am quite sure that it is working, all you need is the current IFrame 3.2.1 release.

Feel free to contact me via mail, I am sure we will find the key to your solution.
