Hi all,

Im trying a fresh installation and am greeted with the following error when trying to connect to the database.

DotNetNuke Upgrade Error

The Assembly Version ( [ASSEMBLYVERSION] ) does not match the Database Version ( [DATABASEVERSION] )

ERROR: Could not connect to database.

The type initializer for 'DotNetNuke.Data.DataProvider' threw an exception.

Using Server 2003, sql 2000 and .net2

Anybody have any clues?

Thanks

make sure, you set up correctly both connection strings in web config and specified correct permissions for your SQL server user to the database you created.

Cheers from Germany,
