I know this question has been asked but I can't seem to make this work.

I'm running DNN 4.4.1 on Windows XP Pro with IIS 5.1 and SQL Server 2000 Developer Edition.

My database connection seems ok from outside DNN, and I've checked all the permissions on all the folders. I've commented out the SQL Express lines (for connection and app settings) and filled in the appropriate info for the SQL 2000 lines and double checked those in an editor that lets me see that the proper lines are removed.

Can someone please tell me what I'm missing?

Thank you!

Clyde Parson

This has been corrected.  I found that my SQL settings were incorrect.  Thanks!

Hi mcparson,
You need to edit both Connection String and AppSettings String in your web.config file. If you get in trouble check server an database collation.

If you cant resolve it please send your web.config file, and i can assist you to correct it
