Hi All,

Is there any way for me to setup so that all user can post a comment in the forum core module? What I am experiencing right now is that the user must be an admin in order to post a comment in the forum.

Thanks in advance

You set posting permissions via the "Module Permissions".  This is slightly different than any other module, meaning that "edit" permissions must be given to registered users to allow them to post.  Un authenticated users cannot post to the forums module.

Thank you for your response. Please correct me if I'm wrong, so, that means registered user also can edit the module, add group, add forum, etc.

You would think so, however the creators of the forums did not make it that way.

That ONLY grants them posting rights.  Admin's are the only ones that can actually modify the forum configuration.

Yes, I know it is incredibly confusing...but I just set this up myself and it does work this way!
