hey i have one big problem that i relly need help on

i need to upload skins Without the asp.net WP accessing the file system so i will need to manualy install the skin zip files for .net nuke.

is there any way at all to do this.

need to know ASAP got a deadline for 6th of jan 06

I wonder why you need it that way. Anyway you can FTP the skin folder to your portal Skins Folder. If it's an HTML skin, parse it using the Skins section of the Host or Admin menu.

Hi Thanks For the quick reply

reasons been my boss don’t want the .net WP accessing the file system  to do changes to file system.

so if i create a html skin then phrase it I wont need the asp.net WP account on the folder nor will it make changes to any of the files on the file system on the server.

Certain features in DNN need write access to the folder where DNN was unzipped.

What i am asking is there anyway of installing skins with out DNN needed write access, i dont mind how its done as long as it can be done. so manualy installing the skins by makeing chnages to the DB?
