Hi, I have installed the starter kit of DNN 4.4.1, and added all the other features, among them Gallery, after that pressing CTRL-F5 get me four errors like missing code-behind files, one example: Integration_GalleryAddFiles.aspx.vb (there are three more, same error type)

Any help on this would be appreciated! TIA

Hm, I have tried to start all over again and after adding Forum or Media (I'm not sure which contains the Gallery stuff) four errors appear:

Error 1 Error parsing attribute 'enableEventValidation': Could not load file or assembly 'DotNetNuke.Modules.Gallery, Version=3.0.11.3077, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified. DesktopModules/Forum/Integration/Integration_GalleryAddFiles.aspx

Have a look in the /forum folder for the missing files, if they're really missing then look for them and copy them into the /DesktopModules/Forum/Integration/  folder better still find the .../Integration/ folder and copy into DesktopModules/Forum/

Am sure I had this same problem and that is what I did...

I was able to get past these errors by adding a reference to the DotNetNuke.Modules.Gallery.dll file.

I went to the "Websites-->Add Reference..." menu item and then selected the "Browse" tab.  From there, I found the dll file in the following path:

...\My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\WebSites\DNN1\DesktopModules\Forum\Integration\bin

If you don't have the dll, which would be strange, you can download it from the DNN Project page for the Forums module.

Hope that helps.  I'm not sure why this error came up in the first place.  Another strange thing is that the ascx files associated with these added modules do not have codebehind files that show up in the IDE.  I guess you have to add the references manually?  That might not be a related issue though.
