I am about to write a new module to display batches of items received for analysis (this is an internet for a customer analysing newspaper cuttings).  I want to offer users an RSS feed on the module.  :Presumably I have to code an event handler somewhere.

I have looked at the standard DNN docs, but cannot find anything on "how to add syndication to a module"?  Does such guidance exist?  If not what do I do?  Get the source for the announcements module and figure it out?  Or is there an easier way?

Thanks for any suggestions.

You would need to implement the ISearchable interface and the host installation would need to enable search indexer to be scheduled to run periodically.  When looking at the announcements module, study the Function GetSearchItems.  There is more detailed guidance here.
