Goday all.

Is it just me, or has anybody else experienced the same problem?
I cannot move my repository module from one page to another.
I try to change the modules parent page from the modules settings property.

There's no error message. I use DNN 3.2.1

I believe this is a bug with DNN 3.2.1 and not the Repository. The move module in the menus doesnt seem to work right. Try to Drag and Drop the module instead by selecting the title bar with the left mouse button, drag it to the new location, the release the left mouse button.

Hope that helps you.

I do not think the problem has anything to do specifically with 3.2.1

I cannot move a Repository module to a new page through the Settings in 3.1.1 or 4.0.1.  Drag-and-drop works fine for moving the module around the page, but this is not the problem. (I was not aware that drag-and-drop could be used to move a module to a new page. I'd be interested to know how to use drag-and-drop to move a module to a new page.)

I have not done enough with this module to call the inability to move modules to a new page through the module's Settings a bug. There may be something about this module of which I am not yet aware that precludes it from being moved to a new page by design.

By the way, I cannot find in the v2 docs provided thus far any mention of moving modules to a new page.

quaker199,
Moving a module from one page to another is not a function of a module, but a core function. I am not aware of anything in the Repository ( or any other module ) that might preclude that core function from working. As such, it's not covered in the repository documentation.

I can reproduce your problem, I too cannot 'move' a repository module from one page to another ( I'm running DNN 3.1.1 now ), however, it does not seem to be relegated to just the Repository. I have an XMod module on my site and I can't move that either.

I would post this in the core forum and re-phrase it as a general problem with moving modules ( from one page to another )

Actually I can move other, not core modules from this same page to a new one.
I also tried to move the dashboard module with no luck.
I can move other core and not core modules from this page.
Can the problem be the stored procedures? I think I will take a look at this.

**edit: same behavior with GRM3 in DNN 3.2.1**
