Is there a method to make the menu items of the drop-down have a different CSS style as those of the root menu items?

I've tried overriding the following CSS classes, but when I try change the menu_item class the root class is changed also:

.MainMenu_RootMenuItem
.MainMenu_RootMenuItemActive

.MainMenu_MenuItem (changing this one messes with the root menu items)

I essentially want the sub menu items to be the style when you roll over one of the sub-menu items.

URL to view.

Thanks to anyone who can assist.

Solved my problem eventually.  Seems like you have to put the submenu and menuitem CSS classes before the root menu classes in your CSS file.  Might have to do with the xml loading of the styles in javascript.  I think there was only 1 article on the net that was related to this where the guy had to change the order of the classes in his skin.css file.  Otherwise, there's no mention of this in the documentation or elsewhere that I could find.

Nice site _xine_. How did you get the Make a Donation menu item to have a different background to the other menu items? Is there a way to set a class for a particular menu item?

I just added a span tag with a class around the page name in the backend. I suppose an ID would be more the correct implementation:

<span ID="makedonation">Make a Donation</span>

Keep the page title free of HTML since that's the <title> on the page.
