This thread was just too good to delete from the moderation queue in the "Using the store module" forum, so I approved it and moved it to the Let's Chat About It Forum.

Now, you gotta feel bad about this guy/girl needing a $20k surgery, but do you really need it bad enough that you don't at least read the website you're registering for, and making a post to requesting someone to give you 20k dollars?

Dyan,

If I were in Chris's place, I'd probably would have deleted your post, as it is in no way on topic for anything on this site. Allow me to briefly explain:

DotNetNuke is an open source web application framework, the forums on this site are purely to support people using the software. Sure, there is a benefactor program on this site, however, in this case it means that you can become benefactor of DotNetNuke, by paying between 100 and 800 dollar per year you will get extra privileges on this site.

If you say "i figured that you people would know how to get around all of this"... i am affraid you figured wrong. Of course, I am only speaking for my self, but i have absolutely no idea how to go about getting money for some kind of medical procedure (I am in the lucky position to live in a country where everyone is covered by a medical insurance....). Maybe someone on these forums is knowledgable in that area, but I'd say chances are dim for you to get any useful information here.
