I searched the forums but could not find an answer.  I just upgraded from 4.4.0 to 4.4.1 and am receiving this error:
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Source Error:
An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the exception stack trace below.

Stack Trace:
[NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.]
   DotNetNuke.Security.Authentication.Configuration.GetConfig() +16
   DotNetNuke.HttpModules.AuthenticationModule.OnAuthenticateRequest(Object s, EventArgs e) +25
   System.Web.SyncEventExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() +92
   System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) +64
I am using Active Directory as authentication and users are automatically logged in because it is an Intranet site.  This error was the first thing that came up after the upgrade, it redirected to http://HOSTNAME/county/Install/Install.aspx?mode=Install .  I Had to change the URL to http://HOSTNAME and after a couple of tries it the site worked fine, but 5 minutes later, this same error came up again and redirection to http://HOSTNAME/county/Install/Install.aspx?mode=Install .  Why is this occurring and what can I do to stop it?
Here are the errors in Log Viewer once I got the appication started again:
