1. I would like to relocate the search bar at the top in the right pane. How can I do this ?
2.I will like to replace the navigation bar at top with navigation tabs, How dcan I create this ?
3. I will like to have ONE blog module containing blogs in several categories, with navigation tabs for all categories to be visible . I want only the last two blogs to show  when each category tab is clicked, with a "show all " button at the bottom. How can I achieve this ?

Are there existing modules (free and commercial ), which are able to do above ? If so please advise on the right one to choose.
Thanks

1. Edit the skin (html) and either place the [SEARCH] token somewhere else, or move it using CSS.
2. This is possible by using CSS and solpart menu, but not you could also look at css navmenu by John Mitchell
(www.snapsis.com)
3. Don't know.

hi, and thanks for the quick reply.

1. Where can I find the skin folders (and html/CSS). I looked everywhere with no luck

2. Found Solpart menu folder under \controls ; but I can't figure out which file to edit - the js or the config ?

Can you tell if css navmenu from Snapsis validates ?

Thanks

1. portals/_default/skins/"skin name folder"
2. You can change Solpart's looks in the skin and yes, the Snapsis menu will validate.
If you are used to UL list for menu's  (and good with CSS) I would advise you not to use Solpart but the snapsis menu or Housemenu.

It might be a good idea to read the skinning document that comes with the DNN documentation
(login and go to downloads on this site)
