Sorry for being late, my internet connection was broken.

The issue was fixed at 2006-10-26 by me (UDT 4389). That issue deals with the general datetime datetype, and createdat(changedat) inherit from that class. So this enhancement will be part of UDT03.04.00.

Great, Stefan

I don't have the code in front and was not sure, if it was already covered - and wanted to extend the list of fixed issues in the next version

Sebastian, Please thank your team for completely wasting my time and ignoring the problem.

You personally asked me to log this problem on the support site, even making the point that “it is not to big a request”. Then your team members immediately turn around and withdraw the very log entry you asked me create. Their justification… claming it has already been fixed when it clearly has not. After all you should know you’re the team lead. Your team members obviously did not even read the problem description which contained your quote asking me to add the log, because they keep asking for the URL to the forum post.

It clearly IS too much to ask of the community to log problem IF individuals and the problems they are reporting are treated in this manner, and unless someone can explain and/or apologize I won’t be waste my time logging problems again.

jahall,

sorry for any inconvenience, we are still improving internal communication. I have NOT verified yet, that the modification made in the developement version will fix the issue you are describing, and the issue shouldn't have been closed before this has been done. It is necessary for us to have a formal process of issue tracking, so no reported issue has a chance to get lost - and this is definately a point, where the community can and shall help us. I promise to verify, that the date problem will be solved in then next version. Please accept my apology.

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold

Accepted, but please consider that communication problems like this could be completely avoided if folks would just send a personnal email or pick up the phone before taking action.

Any idea when a fix will be ready?
