I´m new to skinning but not to webdesign and I´m having some problem with
CSS positioning the different panes using <div> tags with fixed values and
background images.
I used http://www.skinningtoolkit.com/ as refernce but maybe my htm, css and
xml files render wrong in the system.

Here is a link to my htm file with the Body and Head tags refering to the css file;

Here is a link to my dotnetnuke site after installment of the skin;

If anybody can help me with this I will gladly email you my skin package.

Should I drop trying to controll the layout with div tags
and just use tables. After going through about 100 posts
with almost the same type of problems.
Also there have been not answer here regarding this!

Problem solved..

In the css file. because the system adds this string "dnn_" to the div, id tag  to the .aspx file
I just added the same string and made it a part of the Css id name like before it was
#holder now its #dnn_holder and there it is folks..

Not 100% done but I can see the light.

Hope this has helped some people with the same kind of problem.

PS.. I still could use some help on some other issues.. LOL

CSS positioning without using tables is possible see for instance: http://www.dnncreative.com/Tutorials/SkinningTutorials/FreeRedLeafCSSSkin/tabid/238/Default.aspx

However not all things will be easy!
