Last year I upgraded my v3.3.4 DNN site to v4.3.4 in Aug 2006.  Everything seemed to go well, except that I got an exception at the end.  Since my website worked ok, I was happy.

What I have recently discovered is the package installer no longer works.  I tried to install BulkReg using the Upload Custom Module.  When I add a module file and click on Upload New File, DNN thinks for a few seconds and returns to the Module Definitions page having done nothing - the installer never kicks off.

On my new 4.4.x install, the installer kicks off and installs the package just fine.

Something is broken and I'm not sure where to look.   Are there any .txt log files or SQL tables I can look at to see what the problem might be.

AFAIK there was an error like this in an early DNN4.3.x release, and due to security issues of these versions (including 4.3.4) I strongly recommend to update to DNN 4.3.7 or 4.4.1

Thanks.  I will give the upgrade a try this weekend.  I've been holding off, because I was afraid it would fail or otherwize corrupt my live system.  I have  now created a separate working 4.4.1 version and exported/imported the content.  The only piece missing is the membership - that's where BulkReg comes into play.
