Never leave a monkey in charge....

I seem to have done something rather stupid.  I was trying to sort the default email address that membership registration was sent to and during this I deleted what I'm guessing must have been my PRIMARY site alias (although not the domain where the site is held nor the one it was pointing to).

After I did this I am now no longer able to get to the login page.  The login link is still there but it just doesn't go anywhere.

Please someone tell me I will be able to fix this!

Thanks

Keith.

I'm not clear what it is you did exactly, can you provide more details?

Are you able to login using one of the other site aliases?  If so, login there as host and you should be able to get into the Host menu and recreate whatever alias you removed.

I had 2 site aliases - one was the temp url originally supplied by the webhost  the second was the site address www.shadeplus.co.uk .

I deleted the first of these and now if you go to the site you will see that although the login link is there it doesn't go anywhere... :o(

I knew it was a mistake to get up this morning...  :o)

Thanks for any help.

K.

I've had to resort to getting my last backup retored which has fixed the problem.  For some reason now as well the email address has corected itself for site registration... I'm thinking maybe the database had somehow become corrupt earlier on...

Anyway its all better now.

Cheers

K.
