I am wanting to show Camtasia studio videos from my web site. Is it best to load the video onto the site through files then create a link to that file or is there a better option??

I tried to load the file onto the site but it wasnt in the right format.

Can any one help please?

I believe that the files generated by Camtasia include html, css, js and a variety of other extensions?  The only hesitation I would (personally) have about uploading them via DNN (which is easy using the file manager) is enabling upload of those extensions at all (which is done on the Host Settings page).  My approach for this has been to upload those files via FTP and simply add the HTML to utilize them in your blog, page, etc.  Joe Brinkman uses Camtasia quite a bit and you can see his latest here: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/BlogsDotNetNuke/tabid/825/EntryID/1329/Default.aspx

Why is being able to upload html on to my DNN site a problem?

I did actually uplaod the file then created a link to it. However when I click on the link it goes to internet explorer then the following error comes up:

The Camtasia Studio video content presented here requires JavaScript to be enabled and the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player. If you are you using a browser with JavaScript disabled please enable it now. Otherwise, please update your version of the free Flash Player by downloading here.

I allowed java script + I have the latest version of flashplayer & it keeps coming up with this error. However if If I  double click on the file from my computer it works fine.

Would you know what the problem is?

I would find it much easier to upload via the file manager than to use the ftp method as I am not sure on how to do this.

Many Thanks I really appreciate your help
