Hello,

I am writing a "Hello World" custom module for DNN 4.  I follow all of the steps in the "Custom Module" PDF file, compile the website with no errors.....then when I try to add the module to a page, there is a postback and then.....nothing.....The module definition IS in the database, every time I add it, it adds a new row....

Any ideas??

I figured out that this view (dnn_vw_Modules) is not returning the module.  This tells me that there is a problem with my configuration or something.  Can anyone provide more insight?

Well, I figured this one out....apparently the "Control Key" needs to be left blank for simple view controls.  Since I was not importing a module, but building it into the solutions itself I had to create the module definition myself.  This is where my problem occured since I populated the Control Key field (seems logical doesn't it?).  Nowhere did I find information that would lead me to this conclusion without tracing the infrastructure down to the query level.  It would be helpful if this was in the documentation....or stood out more.
