how do i add a new property definition in new user registrations? specifically i want to collect date info from users(eg birth, anniv etc) there is no date datatype builtin. how do i add a new datatype and what do all those numbers mean in the sql database for datatypes - 349, 355 etc

You need to define a css file named module.css in  your module project. after you install the module and look it at some page then DNN framework automatically create a link to that CSS file and include a reference of that css file.

In this way your applied styles will be visible to you and your users.
