You can do vertical, horizontal, & hover/flyout with multiple instances on the same page with the Snapsis CSS NavMenu.

That is close. But none of your examples show what I asked for.

Which is 2 menus.

 

Can anyone tell me whether the [LINKS] object can be used to do this? Or whether I can use the TreeViewMenu starting at child level ??

The houseofnuke site is online again, you can add housemenu as a second menu next to the default menu or add housemenu twice on the same page.
(with different start pages)
