Ok, been away from DNN for a bit, so I'm a little rusty - forgive me.  I'm running DNN v4.4.1 and installing module new features.  One is the Media module, which is giving me a 'Module Not Available' error.  Also, in the process of trying to use a 3rd party module, I'm getting the same type of error.

My question is this:  Is there a version compatibility check of a module with the installed DNN version that would stop installation of modules that are not compatible with a DNN version?  That is to say, is there something in the installer code that prevents loading a module that will not work with their version of DNN?  You know, say a module is fine on DNNv4.0.3 but will not work in DNNv4.4.1, so it doesn't get past the version compatibility check.

I'll have to sort out the errors, but that's my learning curve.  Just wanted to pose the question.  I know there is some version info in the download page for the modules, but didn't know if there was a way to check it when installing.

Thanks folks!

Each individual module developer can provide the information but as far as I know there is not method to check compatibility when actually loading a module.
