My host installed DNN for me with some trouble (the auto installer on their site did not work and they needed to install it for me). Everything seems to be working from what I have seen, but there is no host tab/menu (although the Admin tab is available). I contacted my host and they said that was a post-install issue and there was nothing they could do. I just wonder if the host tab is something that they can disable to not allow me more than one portal, or there was just an error with the install or what? Thanks for you help, I'm so excited to start using DNN, but I keep getting cought up with what seems to be an incompitant host.

Alright, I switched to a different webhost (from gate.com to crytaltech.com) Could this be because I'm using shared hosting for my hosting?

My guess is that they are trying to stop you from accessing your site fully.

I run on a shared host and currently have 8 portals running off of my DNN site.  If you have access to the database you can do some poking around to see if there is a host account out there that they are hiding from you.

SELECT *
FROM users
WHERE IsSuperUser = 1

That will get you a list of host accounts....
