Does anyone have a div based template for a container that has all the standard actions?  I was working on one, but the action menu is playing some havoc with the alignment of the icons and title of the module.  My latest solution was to enclose that action in a div and float it to the left.  While it works if I specify a width for the containing div, it will leave a blank space when not in edit mode.

If others have not blazed the path to making tableless containers (I am sure there are some out there, but just wondering if there is a free template), does anyone know of a method to see if the menu is rendered so that that I can set the width of that div to zero (or just change its style) if user does not have rights?

There are several available for download, but unless I'm mistaken I've only seen containers using [DropdownActions] instead of the standard [Actions] menu.
Try DNNCreative, PowerHouse Data and ObrienIT

Hi

If you are using a css based menu then you probably have changed the doctype of your dnn portal. This will cause havoc with the solpart menu. Solpart doenst work correctly yet with xhtml doctypes. It completely screws up the dropdown navigation. Mostly it opens the dropdown in the top-;eft corner. Ans since the action menu uses the same code as solpart the actions line up weird also. You could better use the old dotnetnuke 2 solpart actions as john said

In your ascx container you should ahve the following header instead of the actions one you ave now

<%@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="ACTIONS" Src="~/admin/Containers/DropDownActions.ascx" %>

I was under the impression that the latest version of Solpart was compliant and no longer exhibited that behaviour.

As an example, I have started work on xhtml compliance on my "play" site www.demonchronicles.com

I have changed the doctype (by providing the proper XXX.doctype.xml files for each .aspx in my skin), have FF showing that I am in compliance mode, and the solpart action menus work as they have always worked.

I know it was an issue in previous releases, but it is no longer an issue in 4.4.1 and going forward I believe.

Correct me if I am mistaken.
