I have a module where I am using a setting on the "Settings" page to capture a display template instead of providing it as a value in the resource file.  Is there a method that I can use to programatically set the resource value.  I am looking at this as a one time thing as part of the upgrade path for my module.

IE, what I want to do is the following.

On module load, if there is a value in the settings, take it and set it to in the resources file.

Then clear the value from the settings so that the previous check would never again try overwriting the resources setting.

Is something like this possible?  Or do I have to make this a breaking change?
