Hi All,

Does anybody know how to set the date format?  Currently the forum uses mm/dd/yyyy.  I want it to use dd/mm/yyy, as is common here in England.

I've tried changing the web.config file as described in:-

http://www.maclark.co.uk/v2/nbspDotNetNuke/nbspNotesandTips/tabid/94/Default.aspx

But this doesn't seem to propogate into the Forums module.

Any ideas?

The timezone formatting is handled from a couple places.  First, it is set in the Forum Administration -> General Settings for the module itself, but there is also a checkbox there to enable per user timezones.  If this is enabled, each user has a timezone set in their dnn user profile.

I was refering to the date format... as in, changing mm/dd/yyy to dd/mm/yyyy, as is common here in the UK.

Any ideas?

Shouldn't that come from the Globalization setting in web.config?

Do you know the truth when you hear it?

Tried changing the web.config (in the dnn root), see my first post for details... but no joy.
