I'd have to double check filenames with dashes in them but spaces in filenames are replaced with underscores in the soon to be released version. It's a case of FireFox enforcing standards that the other browsers aren't.

Strange. I'm using the latest released version of the repository.

Situation is that spaces are being replaced with underscores when downloading with IE, and dashes in the filename are OK. With Safari, spaces stay as spaces and dashes are OK on download. With FF a dash in the filename causes the rest of the name to be discarded.

It appears there must already be some browser-specific logic in there somewhere. Wouldn't it be better to allow those browsers that can handle normal filenames to just accept the filename as uploaded, and have special logic for FF that seems to actually have the problem, i.e. instead of knobbling it for all?
