Greetings!!

I heard that DNN 4.5 will be out soon once it is stable. However I am in the process of launching a website. I want an advise.

Do I currently host the website using 4.4.1(currently available) or do I wait till 4.5 is released. Also if i host my website in 4.4.1, will it be easy to upgrade to 4.5?

In future I may be using ASP.NET Ajax also.

Plz help me decide :)

Thanks to all.

Lalit.

Lalit,

Upgrading is pretty easy as long as you don't have a bunch of core modifications. I would go with 4.4.1 for now. The DNN core team seems to release x.x.0 versions that have neat new features but have a handful of minor bugs that get discovered a week or two after launch. The issues normally are fixed quickly and a x.x.1 is released.

I would wait at least a week after launch and monitor the forums before moving any production sites.
