Hi, the people at XPidea suggest there may be a bug with the Scheduler. I've had some problems with conflicts in scheduling the daily backup job. Their investigations result in:

"It looks like a bug in the DNN scheduler module and you need to report it DNN core team. This error caused by inconsistency in SQL and .NET framework data ranges. .NET’s minimum date value is little lower then SQL’s. Therefore, when .NET date passed over to SQL you get this error. This situation is well known and needs to be properly handled by DNN core team."

The thread is at: http://www.xpidea.com/Support/SupportForum/tabid/63/forumid/5/threadid/6/threadpage/2/scope/posts/Default.aspx

Any thoughts?

I'll raise it with the core team but you should also log it as an issue at support.dotnetnuke.us.

Hi Philip, many thanks for your reply. I guess I'm just a user of DNN and don't feel technically competent enough to work out if an issue deserves to be logged in support.dotnetnuke.us or not, which is, I would of thought, a place where the core team would not want lots of clutter and possibly ill-informed claims of bugs, etc. I have noticed recently that people are being encouraged to enter stuff in there, but still feel hesitant myself.

Just noticed it requires a different username/password to enter too, i.e. rather than accepting the DNN site's user credentials.

You're right a lot fo what gets discussed here is not suitable for Gemini but I figured that was.  All you need to do is register to add items.  We then triage them for the roadmap.

Cheers
