While installing the DNN 4.4.1 i am getting the following error.

Cannot connect to the configuration database. For tips on troubleshooting this error, search for article 823287 in the Microsoft Knowledge Base at http://support.microsoft.com.

I am installing the DNN on the Windows 2003 Server. Share Point Services is also installed on the system.

I have check the referred knowledge base but this not solved my problem and i am continously getting this error.

Please share your ideas regarding the situation.

Thanks in advance.

I've had problems installing DotNetNuke on a server that also has Sharepoint before.  Dont know what caused it, I just uninstalled Sharepoint because it wasnt needed - who needs Sharepoint when you've got DotNetNuke anyway ;)  The problems went away after Sharepoint was uninstalled.
