I made some changes to the Profile Properties of what new users need to fill out. Now when I login as 'host' to add a module it prompts me to fill in the newly required fields. Which is fine, however no matter what I put in the 'interests/hobby' requirement it comes back with the reply it is required, as if I left the field blank. Even when I un-select it in the profile properties menu as admin it still considered the field required.

Thus I am in this endless loop and can not login as host. Any help appreciated.

Since you are apparently able to login as admin, go to Admin -->User Accounts -->User Settings. Then near the botton of the User Accounts Settings section of the settings form, uncheck the box "Require a Valid Profile For Login". Then click update.  Hopefully you'll the next time you login as host you will not be prompted to update the host's profile.

Thank you so much that corrected the issue... however now I broke something else! lol

I got on as host per your directions and uploaded 2 modules, messerchat, which installed fine. Then tried to install the official news RSS module which after it installed now all my site displays is this:

An error has occurred.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.PageLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Framework.DefaultPage.Page_Init(Object sender, EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.OnInit(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Page.OnInit(EventArgs e) at DotNetNuke.Framework.PageBase.OnInit(EventArgs e) at System.Web.UI.Control.InitRecursive(Control namingContainer) at System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Any suggestions?
