Thanks John.

You are probably sick of my questions already... but the only thing I found in your guide that relates to what I want to do is the following:

ShowType – Used very rarely. This property was added to support using two instances of the menus on the same page as in the case when you want to display root navigation in one instance and child navigation in another, with the child instance only displaying the links for the currently active root.
**Note: This setting is only valid when using the “Tabs” NavType.

This doesn't seem to do exactly what I want. I certainly don't want to be forced to use Tabs.

If you take another look at www.VelaBlue.com i have forced the menu that I want for an example, however, I've done this using   in the actual skin - which I don't want to do!

Thanks for your patience.

The Tabs type does not mean that it has to look like tabs.  It was only named that because that is what Pages used to be called in DotNetNuke.

The menu produces a simple Unordered List output.

Seems that John's menu is the only way to have 2 CSS dropdown menus +SEO at the same time in the market now. Great job!

An Update on this for anyone who was interested.

I have started using Snapsis menu and it is GREAT !

Does exactly what I need. It is a steep learning curve for me with CSS but I am getting there..

here is my under-development example this far... www.velablue.com
