There is bug with the module if you set the cache at the module level (not at the host level - that works).
I am still trying to chase that down and will give you an update as soon as I have a fix.

Meanwhile, go to the module settings and make sure that the Cache time is set to "0". Do this for all the Blog module just to be safe.

Hope this helps.

Let me know.

I changed the value to "0" and it seems to work now. Thanks for that!

Same problem again :-(

I thought the problem was solved with the cache settings. Currently there are four blogs. The first blog user started to customize his page and added some blog content. During that he noticed the same problem.

When a user is logged in everything is okay. If not logged in, the page times out. The w3wp.exe on the server goes to 80-90% CPU usage. and stays there...

It's a virtual server with windows 2003 R2, but i don't think that that has anything to do with the problem.

I run a older version of DNN in a virtual server hosting our companys intranet (250 users) without any problems.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Mirko

Hmmm,

I do not think it's your server either.

I can't think of anything else right now. This could essentially be something else all together, but to be honest I have not experienced anything like this before - including sites where I have multiple bloggers.

Even DNN, with all its bloggers has not experienced this.

I will add more information as I find it.
