Greeting,

When I was trying to install DDN in my desktop with Windwos XP Professional, SQL 2005 express edition and IIS 5.0, I've got this error.

 

Server Error in '/DotNetNuke_2' Application.

Configuration Error

Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: Request for the permission of type 'System.Web.AspNetHostingPermission, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed. (c:\dotnetnuke_2\website\web.config line 66)

You can try the following:

Search the following line in your web.config and comment out the line:

  <trust level="Medium" originUrl="http://localhost/.*" />

Thank you for all the help. Finally, I uninstall .Net 2.0 and re-install again. Then it went well.

I have tried that, no luck. Is there some other way to get around this issue?
