Hi

I want to change the domain of my portal, so i've:

1) exported old-domain portal to a template (including content)

2) tried to create a new portal for new-domain based on old-portal template, but i get the following error:

Error: Signup is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Item has already been added. Key in dictionary: "583" Key being added: "583" ---> System.ArgumentException: Item has already been added. Key in dictionary: "583" Key being added: "583" at System.Collections.Hashtable.Insert(Object key, Object nvalue, Boolean add) at System.Collections.Hashtable.Add(Object key, Object value) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalController.ParsePanes(XmlNode nodePanes, Int32 PortalId, Int32 TabId, PortalTemplateModuleAction mergeTabs, Hashtable hModules) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalController.ParseTab(XmlNode nodeTab, Int32 PortalId, Boolean IsAdminTemplate, PortalTemplateModuleAction mergeTabs, Hashtable& hModules, Hashtable& hTabs, Boolean IsNewPortal) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalController.ParseTabs(XmlNode nodeTabs, Int32 PortalId, Boolean IsAdminTemplate, PortalTemplateModuleAction mergeTabs, Boolean IsNewPortal) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalController.ParseTemplate(Int32 PortalId, String TemplatePath, String TemplateFile, Int32 AdministratorId, PortalTemplateModuleAction mergeTabs, Boolean IsNewPortal) at DotNetNuke.Entities.Portals.PortalController.CreatePortal(String PortalName, String FirstName, String LastName, String Username, String Password, String Email, String Description, String KeyWords, String TemplatePath, String TemplateFile, String HomeDirectory, String PortalAlias, String ServerPath, String ChildPath, Boolean IsChildPortal) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.PortalManagement.Signup.cmdUpdate_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

...any ideas? I have quite a few 3rd party modules installed, not sure if that's causing problems?

Any help appreciated.

This is probably something related to this issue:

If you just want to change the portal domain edit the portalAlias table and change the records as needed.

I have a customer reporting to me that in 4.02 this feature does not work at all. I have yet to verify and add to bug tracker. But in his case it was standard DNN instillation with no third party module.

Vicenç, can 1001 be updated with comments from 2170 and discussed within core team?   Seems time to search for a solution since it does affect a number of people...  first report a year or longer ago.   thanks.
