Hello

I have a problem with a module (WWstore) that makes my portal unaccessible. I get several errors so I cannot get into the portal from the web and de-install this module. Is it possible to remove this module from the ones that are loaded another way, like remove a DB entry somewhere? I have Visual studio 2005 so I can edit the Db from there, and I see several tables that sounds promising to edit, but I am reluctant to just delete stuff on random.

If you have any ideas please let me know

Regards
Torbjörn

What is the actual error that you are encountering and do you get it on any/all pages?

Making the change to actually uninstall a module via the DB is most likely not the best of ideas as you will also need to remove the code files and other items placed in the system by the module.

Greetings

the actuall error is:

Server Error in '/g-it' Application.

Could not load file or assembly 'DotNetNuke.Modules.WWStore.Providers.Address.DefaultAddress2' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

So it is difficult to remove the module the normal way since I cannot access the portal at all. It isnt a critical error since there wasnt anything in the store at the time, so I can rebuild the page from a backup. Out of curiosity though I really would like to know for future reference how to clean the DB from errors like this. This site uses the "built-in" database, so its no problem, but had it been a sql DB that I had other data in, it would be nice to know how to clean it up.

regards
Torbjörn
