Hi,

I’ve got a serious issue with my DotNetNuke site that I really need help with. I created a new page then while it was still blank I assigned it as my login page from the Admin > Site Settings, I got side-tracked with some other DNN issue and I logged out. Now I can’t login again because I get directed to a blank page. Does anyone know how I can login in again?

Thanks,
Dathan

Go to your db, open the table 'Portals', find the LoginTabId field for the portal record you have trouble with (if you have just a default portal, there will be only one record), and replace the content with NULL value (you can accomplish it by deleting the content and pressing 'Ctrl+0'), and that should do it!

Hi,

Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it. I’m new to working with databases and I can’t figure out how to replace the content with a NULL value. I tried using SQL Server Management Studio Express CTP and the Server Explorer in Visual Studio. Can you please tell me how I can replace the content?

Thanks,
Dathan

This may be easier then trying to update the DB:

DotNetNuke Login is not working!! How am I going to get back in?

Oh, but if you want to update the DB you can put a null in the field by holding CTRL and typing a zero (CTRL+0).
