before you open in vs, please remember to rename either release.config or development.config to web.config. among other things, web.config also contains name space references, without which you will indeed get lots of errors....

Hi

I am still having problems. I have downloaded both the starter Kit and full source package and i am a bit confused as to the one i should use. The starter kit package seems good because it creates a Visual Studio Web site template that can be easily configured. But why does the full souce contain its own database and the starter kit doesnt.

Which one should i use? I intend to totally customise the application. Also it doesnt matter what i do with the starter Kit, i still cannot open it in design view using Visual Studio. It will go to the designer view but justs throws an error that it cant create the control nessecary. So it seems that i cant use the designer in dotnetnuke!!

As for the full source. i cant get it to work at all. Is there a tutorial anywahere

Cheers
