I am trying to do a clean install of DNN 4.4.1 ( WIN Server 2003 / IIS 6.0 / MS SQL 2005)
the install completed but generated errors.  From the error log, two types of errors were generated:

"The default schema schema does not exist" occurs once and "Invalid object name 'tempErrors'." occurs a number of times.

It does look like the basic DNN table structure was created. 

I have incuded a partial listing from the error log.

Anyone have any illuminations?
