Hi,

I just install DNN 4.4.1 on my comp at work.
I took a while but once I resolved all the issues the installation seemed to go fine.
However when the portal first loaded none of the images appeared, everything was just text.
The images are all present in the installation folder, they just don't appear in the browser (both IE and Firefox).
Anyone know what the problem could be?

A little more detail would be useful.  What images are you talking about?  Images you are inserting into a module, or the standard images that display in the default portal setup?  Also, what, if any, error messages or text is being displayed?  How is your workstation setup?  Do you have asp.net installed?  What O/S version are you using?  Is IIS configured properly.  What version of DNN did you install? (Install, source...)

the OS is WindowsXP sp2
obviously i have ASP.NET 2.0
the installation completed successfully and there are no error messages.
Right now I haven't added or changed anything on the site.
The only problem is that there are just no images (only text where those images would be).
As for whether or not IIS 5.1 is configured properly, I just followed the documentation during install so if they didn't tell me change something I didn't change it.
I did everything I was supposed to do (setup database, created login with db_owner, gave access rights to the ASP.NET worker process to the installation folder, created a virtual directory in IIS that points to the installation folder)
What I need to know is what could be causing the images not to appear and if anyone else has experienced this problem before.

It turns out that IIS was somehow responsible.  When "Integrated Windows authentication" was enabled as an authentication method the site started to work fine and all the pictures appeared.  For some reason anonymous access alone was not working.  Anyone know why?
