Hello,

how can i limit the styles that can be used in the Rich Text Editor?

I want the people that are editing texts to use only those styles that are "allowed".

It must be possible because i can see a limited list of stlyes in the editor i am currently writing this posting

But in my (basic) installation of DNN i see all available styles in the dropdown list.

Hi,

sorry i was a little bit confused and my question was about the normal Rich Text Editor that comes with DNN (FreeTextBox). Meanwhile i have installed FCKEditor anod found the XML file where i can customize the styles shown in the dropdown box.

Following questions in that context:

Is it possible to define different sets of styles for different user groups? I mean: the administrator should have more styles available then a content editor for example.

Can i customize the toolbars depending on the active usres role (remove some buttons for one role, add some buttons for another role)?

About toolbars, yes, you can define different toolbars based on roles.

About styles, no.... you can define a set of styles per editor instance, per module instance and per portal.
