Running DNN 4.4.1 with forum version 03.20.08

Building a new site and when I inserted the the forum the skins started to break. Examining the HTML being generated I noticed that a lot of the table formatting kicked out by the forum module is badly formated: stuff like opening a TABLE, a TR and a TD injecting more content but then not closing the /TD and /TR before the closing /TABLE tag.

I don't have the ability to alter the source code and recompile - anyone got any suggestions before I go find another forum module?

I need about another week or so before the release in beta is finally public. That's all I can offer right now, except that you can view a demo of it at www.dnnforums.com.
