Can a registered user only respond to a thread or post a new thread? I was wondering if a reg. user can create a forum within a group?...or are they limited to threads.

In this setup for dotnetnuke.com a registered user can post new threads, they are just moderated and must go through the moderation queue before they are visible on the site.

i am finding it difficult to find the settings to allow registered/authorised users to be able to post a new thread.

could you please tell me step by step how to do this - i tried the online help but it didn't specify if the different user roles could be assigned to be able to post or not.  at the moment, only adminstrator users get a button for "new thread" - no other users do.

thanks,

bp
