Actually i'm not sure if this error is responsible for the locales.xml. But test each line by outcommenting and look what happens.

Jascht you are right. I did not change anything to the locale.xml. However this error pop-ups. Can VSS be a problem? Or the propertydefinitionfields I deleted?

Yes, instance is running fine. Only things that are different from normal DNN core are: user login changed to allow login in every portal. And own AJAX implementation since DNN 4.5.1 was not available when we started with AJAX. Maybe the AJAX is causing the problem....
