Fresh installation of 4.5 and when browsing the server for images I get this error:

A critical error has occurred.
String cannot be of zero length. Parameter name: oldValue

Instead of opening the browser a new window opens with another instance of the editor.

I am getting the same thing (also a fresh install).  When the "critical error" message appears, it switches to a view that looks a lot like the design view.

This is what I have in my event log:

Ditto, same errror on a fresh install. However, a localhost upgrade works fine.

EDITED->Replacing with the old build (build 1.00.07) does not work!

+1 --> Same problem. Excepted that I am not coming from a fresh install, but from an upgrade 4.4.1 to 4.5.0

How is it possible ?? It has been tested before releasing it. Or image insertion has not been tested ??? We must certainly do something wrong, but what ?

On my side, I have been obliged to replace the file fck_dialog_common,js, otherwise the window does not open in front of the other one, but below. I replace the original file in Providers\HtmlEditorProviders\FckHtmlEditorProvider\FCKeditor\editor\dialog by the other one located in IECustom/Common folder. Maybe this creates the problem ???

For information, on this forum, the problem is similar (on my side, I have the window which is opening in the background, but I can see the error message.....) --> the problem is not linked to the way we do it.
