I created a new module withdnn4.3, vs2005, sql2005 and everything working fine. but  yestoday I rebuild my DNN4.3 for merge with my coworker's code, after that, I have to login as admin or host for my module to work properly. If i am not login as admin or host, I have to wait several minutes between each click (I mean click a button or hyperlink) , otherwise it will do nothing.

I have already rebuild my DNN4.3 without my coworker's code, and it is the same. I have also tried my module on two different Dnn4.3 install on two different w2003 server and they are all showing the same thing.

Is there anyone have the same problem or know the reason ?

thanks a lot.

Take a look at the Event log on Admin menu for any related error. The strange thing is that if the portal was not configured correctly it would do the same for every user, not just admin or host. So there's something else hidden here. Does this module do something special that could be causing this?

Thank for response!

Ok, Now I can get the question more specific.

for find out the problem, I created a now module, and I only add a asp:treeview control, nothing else. the nodes of the treeview is added dynamicly in code behind. it is a three level tree. everytime when I click a node, if I login as admin or host, everything is fine. if I don't login as admin or host, I'll got a error message:

The target 'dnn:ctr5429:ViewReporttreeview:_ctl0:ReportsTreeView' for the callback could not be found or did not implement ICallbackEventHandler.

Or it is just show "Error in page " is the status bar.

I tried to see the site log, but it always timeout, it that mean something wrong in the configuation ?

Thanks again!

Ensure that you have module caching turned off!
