Hi NG,

after upgrading to 4.5 the install script says "succsess".

All seems to work fine (just a little thing with the event-module and fixed-width on page settings)

But then i remembered, i have to change the web.config. I copied the connectionsettings and the keys (SitesqlServer) from the old in the new config. I changed the impersonate-line and changed the dbOwner under data.

As i uploaded the new config all seems to work fine..and faster(not knowing, if it really is) but one thing went wrong:

No one can log in into the site! No admin, host or any user. I tried to change the passwords by script mentioned in an other forum, but no success.

When i change back to old config, log in was possible. But the site throw always the same errror in conjunction with the event module. Changing another time to the new config all wents fine, but log in is not possible. Do i have to change anything else than in the web.config of 4.4.1?

Best regards Frank

Frank,

I think you may have forgotten to copy the Machinekey setting from the original web.config to your new web.config.
They are used to encrypt your passwords.

That it was. Sorry i installed 4.4.1 first. I not remember of changing the machine key. Will it build automatically on first install?

Thanks Frank
