I'm trying to test a web site with a local version of DotNetnuke source (3.2.2) but the Dbowner is different than the local install. I did see at one point while debuggung that a property was being used to get the dbowner from a local file.

My question is where is this stored and can I change it

I haven't been able to find it again

Thanks

If you look in the web.config file you'll find a section like this...

<data defaultProvider="SqlDataProvider">
    <providers>
        <clear />
        <add name="SqlDataProvider" type="DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider, DotNetNuke.SqlDataProvider" connectionStringName="SiteSqlServer" upgradeConnectionString="" providerPath="~\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\" objectQualifier="dnn" templateFile="DotNetNuke_template.mdf" databaseOwner="dbo" />
    </providers>
</data>

I think the bit I've highlighted in bold is what you're after?

Its in the web.config file in the <dotnetnuke> section:

        <data defaultProvider="SqlDataProvider">
            <providers>
                <clear />
                <add name="SqlDataProvider"
                    type="DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider, DotNetNuke.SqlDataProvider"
                    connectionStringName="SiteSqlServer"
                    upgradeConnectionString=""
                    providerPath="~\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\"
                    objectQualifier="dnn_"
                    databaseOwner="dbo" />
            </providers>
        </data>
