Hello!

I have been broking my head with this problem.

I have installed an Announcements module on my page. Then I give the rule, that one of the members can edit this module. Others dont. So far everything is good. When you are not registered user, you see only an Announcements, but when this user with rights log in everything is changed.  He can edit everything like normal. But when he log out, the chance to edit Announcements stays....So when unregistered user come to the page, he can see all the icons to edit Announcements. And thats not right.

Is there any bug in this or I just dont know how to set things up?

You can see this here:

www.zupnijavir.net

Normally unregistered users should not see the edit icons and they should not have a chance to choos expired records?

Any help will be good.

Bye from Slovenia

Matjaž

I have a feeling that the issue is related to caching ond the users machine.  If you do a CTRL + F5 refresh does it go away?

I have tried that too. Also another browser, and also I hve called a friend to take a look. Everytime it was the same...

But funny thing is that I have tried now, few hours after, and computer was off in that time, and there seems to be everything ok. Something is wierd here, but dont know what....

bye

It is the second time I've read about an issue like this. Could you verify it only happens with announcements? If not, it may be a Core caching issue.
