I have been struggling with upgrading 3.2.1 to 3.2.2. I have followed the upgrade instructions for upgrading to 3.x, but I get an error one loading default.aspx for the first time.

The error that is returned is:

Configuration Error

Description: An error occurred during the processing of a configuration file required to service this request. Please review the specific error details below and modify your configuration file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: ?

Source Error:

Line 196: <add assembly="System.EnterpriseServices, Version=1.0.5000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a"/>

Line 198: <add assembly="*"/>
Line 199: </assemblies>

Line 200: </compilation>

I have attempted this upgrade on two different machines with the same result.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Hal

Are you realy sure that you are using a web.config from a 3.2.2 version.

In the original web.config is no line with EnterpriseServices included.

This is from "machine.config".

It often happens when the Trust level is changed without restarting IIS (or the Application Pool).

Is this a hosted environment?  Or a local environment?
