Hi, Apologies for my ignorance, Im completly new to DNN. I have installed a standard installation on my server and can view the pages without any problems, my problem is I cant view the pages from any other machine I get the following message:

I have no doubt its something simple I have missed - HELP

Server Error in '/ContentManager' Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
    <system.web>
        <customErrors mode="Off"/>
    </system.web>
</configuration>

Well, this doesnt tell us much.  WHat you could do is in the web.config temporarily set the customErrors mode property to "Off" and see what the actual error is.

Then we could help out more.  (Just be sure to change the setting back as soon as you have obtained the error detal)

Is there anybody out there that can shed any light on this error ??? All I have done is the standard install. Don't want to ditch DNN as it will have great benefits to my business but it will be pretty pointless if it cant be viewed on any machines.
